In order to unlock the Corrupted Hunter achievement, you must kill the Huntress boss. She can be found on Goblin Island, so set sail for the island when you get a chance. JUST A QUICK NOTE: I had to kill her 3 times before this achievement popped form me. I do not know if it is required to kill her 3 times (especially since all other bosses you only need to kill once), but if you are having trouble popping the achievement, keep killing her by going through the steps below until it unlocks.

Once you get to the island, explore around, and eventually you will find machines that are pumping out the purple slime/sludge around the island. You need to break 4 of these machines, and each time you break a machine, you will get an alert in the bottom left of your screen (like the Brain of Cthulhu from Terraria when you break the Crimson Hearts). Once 4 have been broken, the Huntress will spawn!

This boss doesn't seem to have many attacks, but I do kill her really quickly, especially since I didn't even see a Goblin Island until I had already beaten the last boss. The attacks I saw her use were her shooting thorns outwards from herself in a spiral pattern and also dashing toward me, disappearing, reappearing, and then dashing at me again a few times. I don't know if she has other attacks, but I would imagine she has at least 1 or 2 more.

Once you have killed the Huntress, the achievement will unlock!
