Walter discusses the research done on the Digital Ludeme Project. The project uses AI to study ancient games, developing playouts to answer archaeological research questions. The research is framed in the context of games as intangible cultural heritage, and will discuss the limits and opportunities of AI playouts with regard to reconstructing ancient practices.
