23Today I'm playing the first Helldivers from 2015! I've been recommended to play this top down shooter, and I was not disappointed! So let's talk about Helldivers, that has gotten a bit of a boost thanks to it's sequel Helldivers 2 and a recent sale on Steam. Great co-op player value-bang for your bucks :)

Helldivers is a top-down shooter game developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game was released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita (with cross-play) in March 2015.[4] A version for Microsoft Windows was also released via Steam on 7 December 2015, making it the first game Sony published for Windows.
Helldivers has both local and online co-op for up to four players. The game takes inspiration from military science fiction such as Aliens and Starship Troopers. Helldivers received positive reviews from critics. A sequel, Helldivers 2, was announced in May 2023 and was released on 8 February 2024.
