Finally, after almost a year and half of working on this mod, i'm quite ready to share a public version of the mod.
As teased on previous videos, some features from open alpha are:
Arcade mode, partial heretic compatibility and optional oldschool mode. (plus a mod menu option with some debug options)
Both heretic compatibility and oldschool mod aren't completed yet, but the idea is get some feedback so I can fix them at later date. Also, decided to share them in open alpha, because of the amount of waiting some people had to suffer to get this mod after it was announced early last year =P
Please note that weapon mod's aren't part of open Alpha, as i haven't started with them yet because of hard drive issues. There's however only one weapon upgrade, obtainable on arcade mode.
There are still lots of work to be done for the mod, but I've reached that stage of "wanting to share the mod with people". I know it's not complete and as of now, some stuff are far from my quality standards, but i'll give myself the chance of releasing the mod earlier so I can get more feedback to analyze and improve on it.
Otherwise, people should wait 3-5 years for a polished mod, like it happened with csdmo (announced in 2013, released in 2017), and i guess most people wouldn't like to wait that much for a mod =P
