Omega Strikers is a 3v3 game where you try to score goals on your opponents all while using unique characters and their also unique abilities to beat the competition. Off rip, one of the coolest things about this game is their commitment to “No Pay to Win”, promising that all characters are unlockable through regular play, and that although there may be cosmetics you are able to purchase, there are no loot boxes, no consumable power boosts, and no competitive advantages for people who spend money in game.
The best review on Steam for this game simply says, “It's air hockey with violence and anime.”
A bunch of the characters are super endearing as well, making it easy to play a varied amount since the matches are only a few minutes at a time, the perfect length to try out a character you may not usually be interested in using.
Plus, it’s art style is gorgeous. It’s a game that looks like it’s just begging for an anime adaptation.
The game is perfect for hanging out at home and wanting to play with some friends or just randoms online, and is geared towards filling the same kind of shoes as Super Smash Bros or Rocket League; non-violent fun that is pick and up go for all ages.
Omega Strikers is in open beta now on Steam where you can download it for free, and will be releasing on more platforms in the future.
