It's time, the great finale! (unless I decide to unlock the Four Swords dungeon, which I wouldn't count on!)

Princess Zelda, along with the rest of the descendants of the Seven Sages, can use their powers to open up a way into Ganon's Tower, where we will finally be able to put a stop to the madness of the king of thieves.

Ganon's Tower, although unsurprisingly difficult to navigate, is pretty straight forward in terms of navigation. Most of the time in the dungeon is actually spent on the lower levels, looking for the Boss Key and an also the Red Mail, our final armor upgrade of the game (isn't it somewhat strange that he just keeps a Link-sized suit of chainmail around?), and then we open the way to the upper levels, which are considerably less maze-like.

This dungeon also features a little bit of a "boss rush" element, with the bosses from the "world of light" dungeons making a surprise reappearance for a final hurrah. Of course, unfortunately for them we're considerably stronger now than before, and it shows.

Upon reaching the highest level of the tower, we're not meet with Ganon, instead Aghanim reveals himself to be an extension of Ganon, basically an alter ego or an advanced puppet being controlled by him directly. Kinda sounds similar to elements from future games in the franchise, hm?

Anyway, after another game of dead man's volley with Aghanim (and his clones), Ganon's essence breaks free from him, and returns to the Pyramid of Power, opening up a convenient way inside for us to use.

Ganon is always a difficult fight, he moves a lot, and similarly to the original game on the NES, he can become impervious to damage in the darkness. Only the Silver Arrow can land the final hit. Good thing we have them!

With Ganon gone (for now at least), it's now up to Link to command the Triforce, and restore peace to Hyrule (until next time).

Thank you for watching!

As usual, the software belongs to its owners, I only record my gameplay for my own enjoyment.
