TLoZ: Oracle of Ages #6- Mermaid's Cave

The Maku Tree insists that she can still feel an Essence of Time in Rolling Ridge, so we do our best to mingle with the Gorons, participate in their games, activities, and personal lives... All in order to gain access to the next dungeon: Mermaid's Cave.
The Mermaid's Cave is pretty unique in the sense that it's the only dungeon we must explore in both periods of time: in the past it's shiny and wet, and in the present it's dark and ruined. It seems the dungeon's layout shifted and dried up over time, much like the waterfalls and rivers that used to divide the coast of Rolling Ridge.
In this item we get the Mermaid Suit, a very unique item that is both a boon and a curse: it allows you to swim even in the deepest of waters, and you can even dive and swim at the bottom of the sea for as long as you want- it's also faster than the flippers... However in order to swim you must repeatedly tap the d-pad in the direction you wish to go.... tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap can't stop. It really puts a strain on your thumb!
And take a guess as to where the next Essence is... (hint: it's underwater, so keep tapping)
As usual, the software belongs to its owners, I only record my gameplay for my own enjoyment.
