After falling off the bridge we land on water safely, during the way we find a twilit calling a giant bird creature, only pouncing at it will make the attack effective, it turns out we can also take control of that bird, it also gives us a ride to the upper zora river however it's risky because there's enemies firing arrows and one mistake will lead you to do the entire thing again. Arriving at Zora's Domain we learn the entire source of water in Hyrule has been frozen, which is why the townsfolk of Hyrule Castle have been suffering from a shortage of water, figuring out how to defrost the place, we realize that giant piece of volcanic rock that fell at Death Mountain a while ago. After defrosting everything we are called by Queen Rutela, she was killed by the shadow beasts and sent his son Ralis to give the message to princess Zelda before he ended up missing and at the pub at Hyrule Castle.
