TMNT 2012 Season 3 Episode 20 Review - Tale of the Yokai

Continuing from the previous part, the Turtles encounter an unfriendly sight… ninjas, of the Hamato Clan. They learn that they have arrived 16 years into the past. What follows is the Turtles learning the truth regarding Hamato Yoshi, Oroku Saki and the inevitable that would follow. All the while, they have to ensure their own existence.
This episode is one I was waiting for quite some time. We get first appearances of Hamato Yuta as well as seeing Tang Shen. Personally it’s one part origin story, one part nod to Back to the Future. Yep. The TMNT have to work to ensure their own existence while not screwing up. I loved it. I really did. Although some of the stuff that happen is depressing, it is inevitable. It’s inevitable of what happens but now with this, it makes sense. Perfect sense.
