TMNT Season 1 Episode Review - Baxter’s Gambit

After a triple threat fight, Baxter has a plan but his real purpose is to get revenge against Dogpound, Fishface and the TMNT. Once they end up in the trap, they all must work together to defeat Stockman and get out of there. There’s also a sub plot regarding April O’Neil being trained by Spliner. It also adds a bit of warmth since it delves into Splinter’s past. It’s well done.
The episode was great. I enjoyed it since it gave us a lot of firsts such as the TMNT and the foot having to work together along with a bit of backstory for Fishface/Xever. It’s well done but my problem… Baxter Stockman is still not taken seriously as a villain. I don’t know why but he’s just lousy. I could be wrong. Other than that, I liked it.
