In TNO's debug mode, there's a curious option called "Open the Rift", which sets off a chain of events in wherein Nazi archeological digs sponsored by Reichskommisariat Kaukasien unearth and open up a portal from which the Lost Legion emerge: armed to the brim with modern firearms and hardware, ready to come back to Rome, if not rebuild it in the Legion's image. But what if those digging for trinkets in the desert find something else that's not meant to be uncovered? Like, say, a white doll with nanomachines that resets human civilization?

For those curious, this is something of a remake of this old "Moonlight Butterfly" super event ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlUM6Ux9BXA ). Which itself is a reference to the ultimate "failstate" in the various continuities in the Gundam franchise. The music used is Yoko Kanno's "The First Advent" from ∀/Turn A Gundam ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOKWUnTzFJo ), while the vocal quip is from J. Robert Oppenheimer's infamous "Destroyer of Worlds" monologue ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lb13ynu3Iac ).

Also, as a disclaimer, I'm neither affiliated with either Sunrise/Bandai or Kyoto Animation. Though small bit of trivia: Kyoani in its earlier years had done outsourcing and sub-contracted work for Sunrise, the two studios maintaining amicable relations ever since. With ∀ Gundam being a work that Kyoani was also rather involved in, and which retro-themed backdrop foreshadows the adventures of a certain Violet Evergarden...
