It doesn't take a lot of effort to see where Toby: The Secret Mine borrows most of it's inspiration from. Based on visuals alone, you may immediately be drawn to the comparison between Toby and Limbo, and in all honesty, you would not be far off the mark. However, besides the visuals and light platforming, Toby may not deliver as rich an experience as some players may expect from similar titles. You will platform and avoid traps as you attempt to rescue your little demon-cat companions through all 21 levels, but the puzzles feeling less than inspired, and the traps seeming to be more of trial and error (cheap kills) leaves the 2-hour game feeling a bit hollow.
