While trying to get better Endless scores last night, I had this run that was obviously not gonna be a winner, but the way my game ended here was weird.

So, the game declared me dead at 2:55 while none of the visible gems were touching the top of the screen. However, I did notice an oddity when I dropped a stack of blue gems on top of matching yellow gems at about 2:51, where one of the blue gems I dropped seemed to vanish, and as a result, the intended chain reaction didn't occur. And then, after I lost and you see the gems falling off the screen, you can see a blue gem appear from above the screen at about 2:59-3:00.

So, methinks the blue gems I dropped stacked so high with the rising field that the game didn't factor gravity into the highest one, so it just remained stuck above the screen, but still counted as a gem filling that column, so when that column was one tile away from the top a few seconds later, the game decided that the column was full and therefore I should lose.

I bet this issue could be fixed by just extending the gravity check to be one tile higher above the screen than it currently is now. (Probably wouldn't need to go higher than that, because I normally can't stack any gems atop gems already touching the top of the screen, and if I drop a stack of 3 or more, they'll just match anyway.)
