Tokyo Xanadu eX+ Part 1
1Tokyo Xanadu was released in september 2015 for the Vita and about a year later, Tokyo Xanadu eX+ was released for the PS4. There will be a western release of Tokyo Xanadu for the Vita published by Aksys, but there's no word about eX+.
eX+ contains additional playable and story content not in the vita version. All of the DLC from Tokyo Xanadu was included with my copy of eX+, not sure if it was only a first release thing or not, but I literally just got this game today, 3 months after it's release.
I have a feeling this game was produced to test the waters for the upcoming Ys 8 release on the PS4. When that gets released sometime in 2017, I will most definitely purchase it and upload a Nightmare playthrough. I'm hoping Ys 8 will run just as good as eX+ is, but Ys 8 has a lot more to render and things to keep track of given the size of the maps.
If anyone wants to see a playthrough of eX+, leave a comment and I'll record the rest. The setting is in Japan, so there's a ton of cool references to other Falcom products like the 8 bit Adol in the beginning of the game. There's also a familiar face and name, but don't be fooled, it is not the same person.
