"Tom & Jerry: The Ultimate Game of Cat and Mouse!", also known as "Tom & Jerry (and Tuffy)" or simply as "Tom and Jerry", is a video game developed by Hi-Tech Expressions. The game was first released in 1991 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It has a unique plot centered around Tom, Jerry, and Tuffy.
The player controls Jerry, who must navigate several levels of a house to rescue his ward Tuffy from a cage in the attic, where Tom has locked him. The game is divided into five worlds set in different locations of the house, with three stages each. After working his way through each stage, Jerry and Tom face off in a fight at the end of each world.
There is nothing about the game that stands out. It's typical platform action, but the obstacles and enemies are both tough and well devised, making for a fairly entertaining game.
