Tom is Lost in Time
2Last couple of weeks were games that were kind of a throwback to older games this game however actually is an old game. Adventuregamers.com has no release date for this game but it was actually released in 1993. My parents bought me this game and it was one of the games I got for Xmas one year I forget which year. Thanks to ScummVM I was able to run this game again. This game was made by Coktel Vision which used to be part of Sierra Online. Coktel Vision made other games like the Inca series, The Goblins series, and Ween the Prophecy I'm sure there are others but these are the ones I recall off the top of my head. This game has some cheesy voice acting but that is because this was originally a French game and the dialogue was originally in French so it probably loses something in translation. I still enjoyed this game this was one of the few adventure games I played as a kid without a walkthrough or hint book of course you can use jokers to get hints but the Joker hint feature doesn't always work so most of this game I beat on my own well my dad did help some. Anyway next Tuesday will be another adventure game from the 90s this one however I have never played before so will probably take me longer plus from what I read it has random real time encounters which is always great when you have no idea what does what.
