Tom's History of FPS Games Part 28 : Killing Time
1Killing Time is a first person shooter originally made for The 3DO I had actually bought this game on GOG but alas that version didn't work even after I downloaded a patch so I had to play the 3DO version which thankfully did work. Killing Time takes place in the 30s you play a college student who is trying to find a missing Egyptian artifact called the Water Clock of Thoth which went missing after Tess Conway stole it so our character is now at the Conway Estate where something has gone horribly wrong which our character will discover as he goes along. The game starts outside the estate the ghost of Tess tells the main character to collect her essence. I enjoyed what I played of Killing Time once I got it working. Apparently the version on the PC is entirely different so I would love to check it out but alas not right now maybe someone will create a source port in the future that will make it possible to run it on a modern system.
