Tom Tries a Dos Game Part 6 : Don't Go Alone
2Another Thursday another Dos game. This time I check out Don't Go Alone which is a first person dungeon crawling horror rpg. I am not sure if I was playing it correctly to be fair I was doing it blindly without even reading the manual so I may have missed something when it came to combat. I really hope that I was cause combat would have been rather tedious if you could only fight with one party member at a time meanwhile the enemies could wail on the other party members and they can't retaliate. What was the plot of this rpg I really don't know the only thing I could discern for sure is you and a group of your friends venture into a haunted house where you encounter all kinds of monstrous creatures. I have no idea why I ventured into this house oh after looking up more info on the game I discovered that yes you can only fight as the currently selected character also you can't really die in this game you don't have a health meter you have a fear meter when the fear meter goes up all of the way you can't do anything until it goes back down which will happen if you just stand in one place and wait but it goes down so slowly it is not even worth it when you are knocked unconscious you lose items I guess the monsters rob you or something you do gain experience points but when I was playing I never managed to get to level 2 so I guess I didn't fight enough enemies. I am not sure why I am writing a huge essay about this game I probably won't be returning to but ehh whatever. This video was originally posted on my Twitch account my alias on there is angelus_05.
