Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft playthrough Part 1
0Old games do not want to run well. Even finding an amazing user patch program for multiple games was only the FIRST hurdle in getting this game to function and stream properly. But we're here. Multiple attempts, a late start, but we are here.
And we're playing a game I have been absolutely dreading. Tomb Raider III. I know a lot of people adore these games, but quite frankly, they do not hold up. The engine is clunky, even if it was impressive for its time. And the level design - which is not something that can be blamed on the engine - just isn't good a lot of times. Instant death traps that activate a bit TOO quickly are a real hassle, and this game's got them in spades. So we are once again faced with fighting very stuff controls on too tight a time frame before instant death. Sigh. And I'm only on the second level so far.
