Unreal: Return to Na Pali playthrough Part 1
2Oh. Oh god. I was not expecting this. I had actually forgotten entirely about this expansion pack. Going way back here, I played the base game years ago, and just... never got around to doing this. I actually did end up liking Unreal for the most part, though it's not a game I would recommend to everyone. It overstays its welcome in several areas. But this? Unreal is miles better than this. This is... It feels rushed and amateur at the same time. The sound balance is absolutely terrible with different voices in the same cut scenes having drastically different volumes. The maps are abysmally put together with visible seams, and several places you can escape the intended boundaries. There's absolutely zero attempt at balance, with enemies firing AOE weapons in close quarters, places where enemies with rapid-fire hit-scan weapons will continually spawn in while you're low on health, VERY few weapon and ammo pick ups compared to the sheer amount of enemies. And some of the most confusing layouts I've ever seen to the point where I have no idea where I am supposed to be going most of the time. This is such a marked decline in quality that I'm surprised Epic would even bundle it with the game. This is just bad. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
