Tomb Raider TEAM DEATHMATCH game 1
18In this video, I'm playing Team Deathmatch on the map "Shrine" as Father Mathias. There are 3 rounds for this game, and each round is about 10 Minutes long; making this a total of 30 minutes long. However, I jumped in on the last round of the match, so that's why this video is just 10 minutes long. You start off as either a Solarii (enemies of the game) or a Survivor (you friends in the game) for the first round. The second round, you switch off. Then the third round, if you win round one and two, you get the opportunity of selecting if you want to play as a Survivor or a Solarii.
You get to customize your loadouts such as Primary (two handed weapons), Secondary (one handed weapon), Explosives, Offensive Skill (like a special ability/burst), Survival Skill (helps reduce any damage, reduce the time setting off a trap, etc.). For the weapons, you get to add attachments to them to make them powerful, hold more ammo, faster reloading, stability, etc. For every kill you get, you get points to use towards buying weapons or new characters to play as. You unlock more stuff the more you rank up. The Survivors and the Solarii both have a bit of a difference with weapons. So, you'll be purchasing new characters, weapon attachments, etc for both sides. You can't customize your avatar's looks though. Also, I think the highest rank is 52 and you get to prestige 3 times. Each Prestige will unlock a Special Avatar to use (idk what else for now). Right now I'm currently rank 20, and the character I'm playing as on here is unlocked when you reach about rank 12 (you have to spend your points to get him).
Also, you get to set up traps, I actually get caught on one in the video, but to get off it, you have to shoot the rope. There are also explosive barrels you can shoot to kill enemies who run by them; and other traps. If you noticed, at times the game becomes gray and a wave gets push from my character; that's just a way of checking to see if enemies are near by or items. Being that there isn't a radar in the game, you use this, and enemies will be highlighted red so you'll see/know they're near you. You can melee or charge attack using your axe (always on you), and you can run for a short time, I thought you couldn't at first, lol.
If you die, you get to spawn on one of your team mates, but only if they're health is full; otherwise you'll end up spawning where you started. You get to have two loadouts to switch between when you die. It think you get unlock more loadout slots the more rank up. You can't run and gun like in Max Payne 3, you have to aim to shoot like GTA 4, Red Dead Redemption, Uncharted 3, and Gears of War. There is NO Soft Lock mode for this game, which is good, so more players to play with, yay!
This game is a lot of fun! The campaign is going great so far, and the multilayer can be pretty hard, but once you get familiar with it, you'll find your own tactics to do good! I wanted to say sorry as well for being a day late, my game arrived a little late. Plus, I was trying to get a hang of the Multiplayer for this game. Also, Amazon gave me the wrong version of the game. I ordered the PS3 Version of the Collectors Edition, but instead they sent me the Xbox 360 one :/ I know I told some of my friends on the PS3 that I'd be getting it for the PS3 to play together, but Amazon screwed up. Oh well, I'm still happy with the game though :) Maybe, I'll exchange it for a PS3 copy later, but for now I'll stick with it.
