TOME RPG's Lead Programmer and Technical Director, Mike Prinke, showcases a behind-the-scenes process of how we implement the game's story cutscenes! Mike goes step-by-step from the script file where I've written the dialogue, to the eventual spreadsheet where stage directions and special effects are coded and finally into the Unity where they execute directly in the game engine. As of the release of this video, the cutscenes for the first two Chapters of the game are already complete, so here's a quick look at what we've accomplished so far!
