It's no secret that our mainline between Hull and Broomfleet has been getting busier and busier with new freight, passenger and express passenger services. This is leading to an increasing amount of delays and backlogs which is really impacting our profits.
So what's the solution? Well surely we can't cut the amount of services we're offering down this section of track, because let's face it the passenger services are all packed! So the obvious answer is more track. The complicated junctions we already have in place however, may prove this solution a lot more difficult than is sounds!
