This is a video response to a question I got asked about the Toolbars in Gimp 2.6. Their toolbar doesn't show up when the program is started so this is a method you can use if this is happening to you and it will be the exact same as the actual toolbar itself. I hope this helps and answered your question. The brushes, patterns, and gradient section is optional but that is what you get with the standard toolbar anyway. Just follow my instructions and you shouldn't have any problems, drag the brushes tab down to where I showed you and after it's been put there, use the "add tabs" option that will appear NEXT to where you just put your brushes. Again, I hope this helps :)
