This is a top 10 list of amazing Fortnite professional players to look out for in the new Fortnite season!
Tayson
Considered by the majority of the community to be the best player in the world right now, Tayson was a shoo-in for this list.
His outstanding 2020 year had 2 FNCS titles and it only got better in 2021 with 3 more, including another solos win and also the most recent major tournament, the Grand Royale.
He heads into 2022 with his duo Th0masHD - another giant in his own right - and together they have qualified for 10 DreamHack Duos finals in just 6 editions!
Can he possibly make it 3 years in a row as the almost-undisputed best player in the world?

Kami
“Kami Split” and “low-ground” were phrases that resonated throughout the whole year and Kami owned both of them. Credit must go to his FNCS-winning trio as well, but when adding in solo results he certainly deserves a spot on this list by himself.
The recent duo change from Packo to Teeq won’t concern anybody given the amount of synergy they’ve built up from trios.
He’s qualified for all 4 Cash Cup finals so far - one of the most consistent starts to the year!

Setty
Widely considered to be the best tarper in EU and perhaps even the world, Setty cannot be left out of my Top 10 right now.
The only concern would be finding a duo and playstyle that produces the same results as he had in trios, and he recently switched duos to try and find that. It’s very early days yet but given his skillset he should always be feared in any duos tournament.
Will he find the right partner to perform with, or will we look back and wish that he was still with Kami and Teeq?

MrSavage
In my opinion MrSavage is one of only a few World Cup players who has never really had a drop in playing level - he could legitimately have been regarded as a Top 10 player throughout the last 3 years.
Although results in major finals sometimes disappointed slightly in 2021, there were a few big wins for him recently, and his consistency in Solo Cash Cups for the last year was among the best.
After some time playing apart, Benjy and him reunited and won the last major duo tournament at DreamHack October together.
They might be the most popular duo in Fortnite, so the question is whether there’s anyone who does not want to see MrSavage do well!

Mero
With 3 FNCS, 1 DreamHack, and 6 Cash Cup wins, Mero had the best achievements in NAE in 2021.
He first his 3 FNCS titles with 5 different teammates - Deyy, Reverse2k, Bugha, Muz and Duke - so he appears to be able to succeed with most people he teams up with!
After a brief time with Acorn, he is back to teaming up with Bugha to start the Duos seasons and this certainly won’t harm his chances either - the sky is the limit in 2022!

Deyy
His elimination counts throughout 2021 were a sight to behold, and the bigger the tournament, the more he stepped up to the challenge, leading to one win and multiple other high placements in FNCS.
Nobody will be surprised if his success continues into the duo meta, where he is currently teaming up with Clix.
Best fragger in the world right now? There’s definitely an argument to be made for it.

EpikWhale
Many would say that NAW players are not deserving of being considered amongst the best because of the lack of depth in the region. The question is what else are they supposed to have achieved, and why hasn’t anyone dominated the other even smaller regions?
It’s fair enough saying that one FNCS win on NAW doesn’t automatically make you a goat, but when you’ve won 5 out of the 6 recent Trio FNCS, got 2nd in the other, and placed 4th in Solos, there’s no way that you can take anything away from what he’s achieved.
I didn’t even mention the fact that when he did compete against other regions in 2019, he placed 3rd in the biggest solo tournament in Fortnite History.

Arkhram
Indeed it looks like they will be teaming up again as a duo, and nobody is expecting anything less than perfect results from them. The expectation speaks for itself.
They will win titles this year, and when LANs return, they will be up there with every other player in the world. That’s not even a question right now is it?

Degen
Degen has qualified for all 10 DreamHack online finals, and the last 8 FNCS Finals - it’s almost 2 years since he missed a major final.
Add the fact he won 6 tournaments last year and you’d think that more people should regard his as one of the best right now.

Chapix
Another legend who has been at the top since before the World Cup, Chapix had a stellar 2021 with 2 FNCS and 6 Cash Cup wins.
Sometimes his long list of achievements goes under the radar, despite having years of great results.
