Argentavis - This is the largest flying bird ever discovered and is sometimes referred to as the 'Giant Teratorn'.

Brontornis - It is the second largest species of Phorusrhacidae (terror birds) at 2.80m or 9.19ft.

Haast's Eagle - Found in New Zealand it is the largest species of Eagle ever to have existed and hunted anything of any size in New Zealand. Top speed of 80km/p (50mph).

Kelenken - It had the largest head of any known bird and is one of the biggest birds ever found as it could reach 3m (9.8ft) and weighed around 500 pounds (230 kg).

Phorusrhacos - It stood around 2.5m (8ft) tall and weighed about 280lbs or 130kg.

Osteodontornis - It was a sea bird with a wingspan of 5.5 - 6m (18 - 20ft). This is the second largest flying bird known and it had a beak full of sharp teeth.

Paraphysornis - Is one of the smaller lesser known species of terror bird at 2m tall.

Merriam's Teratorn - Had a wingspan of 3.5 to 3.8 m (11- 12 ft).

Physornis - Is another one of the lesser known species of terror bird but was still very dangerous.

Titanis - It is the only terror bird which moved from South America to North America which is why the species became so famous. It stood around 2.5m tall and weighed about 150kg making it one of the lightest of the terror birds but it was still one of the tallest and it could run at about 65km/h.
