The Amstrad CPC suffered from a curse, and that curse was a result of it's rival, the ZX Spectrum. Many games in the UK were typically coded for the Spectrum first, then ported to the CPC using the same code. Most of these games turned out to be very poor, but some got a fairly decent conversion. Here is my personal top 11 of the Amstrad CPC's Speccy ports.
