If you've seen some of my older videos particularly, you're likely aware that I'm a big fan of games that can be played solo. It's difficult to balance out, particularly for games designed for more players, to have a solo mode that's fun, challenging, and still captures the spirit of the original.

A lot of games accomplish this by using some kind of Artificial Intelligence/Decision tree. A simplified response program that will perform actions based on what cards are available, the player's actions, etc. Here, I discuss my favorite games that use such a system. Most importantly, though, what do YOU all think? Do you enjoy solo games in general? Do you find some of these decision trees too complex? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
