Like many aspects of life, sometimes games need a bit of an upgrade. Maybe the mechanics are a bit meh; maybe it's imbalanced, or something as simple as having cards and a board that isn't really readable!
Other times, though, DON'T FIX WHAT ISN'T BROKEN!!!! Here, I discuss my top 5 downgrading upgrades to games - new editions/versions/etc., that took the steam and fun out of the original game in some way. Bad redesign, poorly balanced mechanics, whatever it happens to be.
