If you've watched my videos in the past, you know that I'm a sucker for a solid theme in games, particularly if it's a scientific one. The thing is, though, that it's really easy to overdesign a game so that the theme makes a game almost inaccessible to someone unfamiliar with the topic.
In this video, I discuss my thoughts on science themed games and how some do the theme well and how others take it over the top to the point where it's no longer enjoyable. Enjoy and let me know how you like the new bg!
