More and more in the past couple decades, hobby gamers have expanded their circles through local game stores and websites like meetup and Facebook. In addition, a lot have looked closer to home - MUCH closer. Playing games with your family can be a truly fun and unique bonding experience as well as helping everyone keep their wits sharp.
One potential issue people can run into is gaming with their children. Sure, some games are designed for kids, but... do hobby players really want to play them very much? Doubtful. For this video, I wanted to go over some of my favorite modifications that can be made to hobby board games to make them more kid-friendly and digestible, while letting you add in more (proper) rules over time.
