Top Fighter 2005 MK VIII - Sega Genesis (2000)
1If you're gonna jank, go all the way with it. That's what...someone did. No clue who. I do wish they at least tried to do it well, because this roster is just hilarious. Jordan, Ali, Cyclops, Ryu, Goku....it's a mess and I love that. The problem is that the game is terrible to play. If they would have done a basic job at it, this would be fine...no one expects an Evo worthy engine. Moves don't work naturally, you have to do some weird direct inputs in sequence to use them and I'm not even sure if that's right. That's just what allowed me to do moves more consistently. Then buttons simply don't work at all sometimes. The bug list, as I now see, is huge and explains a lot of the issues I came across.
Also, come on. It's 2000. It'd be cheaper to pass a burned CD-R on the PSX. Why go through the trouble of a cart?
