My personal best 2D mmo's and mmorpgs as of 2013 and below. Several 2D games I liked in the past are no longer available, which is a shame... But anyway, these top 2d games will be the best mmorpgs you can find at the moment.

1:20 - Elsword - 2D sidescrolling mixed with 3D action, not for the lowest spec pcs
2:41 - La Tale Season 2 - Great for low spec computers
3:50 - 8 Bit MMO - Relatively new, kind of like a 2D minecraft mmo.
4:45 - Other mentions (Maplestory, Grand Chase, Wonderland

Maplestory, everyone knows about.

Grand Chase is an inferior version of Elsword, in my opinion

Wonderland is a old school type of RPG, similar to the combat in early Final Fantasies.
