A tornado touched down tonight on the SW side of Cedar Rapids. Several mobile homes appear to have sustained damage. Most, minor, but one lost its roof. The National Weather Service says the damage occurred around 8:30 p.m. based on radar.

The tornado was rated EF-0 with 85mph winfs.

Outside the hardest-hit mobile home, a stop sign was broken at its base. Based on satellite imagery, this all seems to be new damage not associated with August's derecho.

Several mobile homes in the immediate periphery have minor roof/siding/gutter damage. You can see a few pieces hanging off this mobile home.
