Wir sehen uns das Toshiba Excite AT7-C auf dem Intel-Stand der Computex 2014 näher an. Es handelt sich um das erste Atom-basierte 64-Bit Android "KitKat"-Tablet, zumindest wenn man dem Standpersonal Glauben schenken kann. Es läuft Android 4.4.2 auf einem Intel Atom Z3735 Quadcore x86-SoC, der mit acht GB Flash-Speicher und vermutlich einem Gigabyte RAM kombiniert wird. Das 7-Zoll-Display löst leider nur mit 1024x600 Pixeln auf, bietet aber eine ordentliche Helligkeit und wirkt zumindest in der nativen Auflösung noch erträglich scharf.
