The absolute madman behind Metal Gear Solid - Hideo Kojima, once worked on a game series called Boktai. Well, the first game on Gameboy Advance had a special cartridge with a solar sensor on it, and in order to charge your weapons in-game you needed to go outside and get some sunlight on the sensor. What even wilder though, is you couldn't be outside for too long, because then you'd overcharge your weapons and make them useless.
