Yes, you read that right.
By changing the difficulty value and restarting the game/stage, you can get the game to run through the maingame stages on Extra difficulty.
The results for this are far more interesting than the Overdrive difficulty videos I put out several months back. It seems that MoF, SA and UFO produce the best results, while TD onward will be unstable and the classic Windows games just have their attacks completely broken.
I'll probably be doing a similar video for SA and UFO in the next few days.
