3The parts I enjoyed the most were the stages, as you really need to route and plan beforehand. Once you have a route and enough practice, pulling those routes is really satisfying, though it takes a while, and the in-game practice tools aren't good enough, methinks. The universal practice tool is incredible for this game in particular.
With that being said, I really struggled with the boss fights, and idk why but I don't feel like I enjoy any of them. I mostly felt frustrated for getting 5 bombs in a stage and then that not mattering cause I get wiped out by the boss. Maybe it's an extreme case of Git Gud.
In prior games, there were still bosses that I struggled with, but I didn't feel as frustrated. In fact I usually had a lot of fun, even if I lost all my lives.
Anyway, I will come back to this game once I'm better at shmuping.
