Touhou 17: WBaWC Demo - Youmu W, Easy, 86,761,520
8Youmu is fun. I like that she works just like she does in Touhou 13: Ten Desires, with the unfocused "options", and focusing to charge the powerful slash attack.
And, with the wolf "Roaring Mode", you get ALL the slashes! Also, with the eagle "Roaring Mode", you get nearly 180° worth of screen-filling shots in front of you! (I mostly used the wolf one during this run, but made sure to try out the others at least once each.)
Also, during this run, I got a golden chick spirit from the stage 3 mid-boss. Keegster23 told me that it was because I defeated the mid-boss while in "Roaring Mode". However, I have no idea what the golden chick does, if anything. (Also, a trophy notification popped up when it appeared as I was playing, but the trophy doesn't show in this replay.)
Oh, and this run is completely deathless and I didn't fail a spell card with a panic bomb this time. However, there was a point during the second half of stage 3 where I hit the bomb button during "Roaring Mode", and that manually popped it, creating a circular attack around me. I bet the same thing would've happened if I had been hit during "Roaring Mode". (Also, I wager that if "Roaring Mode" ends due to getting hit or pressing the bomb button during a spell card, that would fail the spell card capture.)
