That was quick.
Quite a few silly mistakes here and there but I'm happy with it for now. This was my first time planning out my own routes and figuring out my own strategies (stage 5 and 6 midbosses especially) instead of just looking up a run and copying their strategies so it was a neat experience.

Now for the thoughts on the game I promised:
Starting with the positives, the spellcard patterns were decently varied and interesting, the music in the latter half was a lot better than the first half, and the difficulty was just right for my tastes. I also like that ZUN nerfed the Otter hyper to stop it from being a complete faceroll (though it might still be fairly faceroll? I'll find out when I go for the no-miss achievement). The achievements themselves are also pretty cool in that they add a few extra things to go for. Being able to view boss dialogs (for extra) and the endings (for the main game) from the achievement menu is also a nice touch.

As for the negatives, like I mentioned in my first video the esc+r shortcut being removed kind of sucks, the bullet visibility issue which I'm sure plenty of people brought up already by now definitely sucks, and the cast themselves isn't very strong in my opinion. The last two spells spawning spirits endlessly is also a bad design choice because it severely impacts movement and visibility for NBNH players and is extremely abusable for regular players since they can just spam hypers to win.

Overall I'm more positive about the game than I was about the demo. If nothing else I'm motivated enough to grind out all the achievements which is a pretty positive sign. Next up is probably ExNNN though, which should be pretty doable.
