Touhou 8: IN - *Normal 1cc butter-neko edition* [Barrier team - Stage 6B]
2Right so uhh...3rd 1cc of mine I guess? Making progress?
Anyway....this was quite a challenge acutually....compared to the other 2 I've done so far this one is harder and it is really into serious bullet rains....
This time you get to use 2 girls at once and well....not a giant fan of it....
Team Marisa is the worst because Alice cannot shoot anywhere except right in front of herself in a LINE....(and it won't get better even at full power)
Team Sakuya is not that bad but larger hitbox in nonsense...also Remilia has weird attack....
Team PCB is the second best the focused girl who I forgot her name again can cover the entire area with...butterflies....the non-focused sword-half-ghost girl is the bad one this time but since you will spend 60% of the time with the focused girl who cares?
Beating the game once is not enough. If you 1cc the game the first time you'll end up in another Stage 6 where Eirin or what her name is is the final boss. You get a normal ending and Stage 6B will be unlocked for the team you did the 1cc with.
Going through the game for a second time with the same team will automatically throw you to Stage 6B (the one you see here)....
There is a catch here though....you cannot continue....
Why is that an issue? Because I couldn't look through half of that spoilt princesses spell cards so I kinda had to save as many lives and bombs as I could for her not to get rekt for a second time....
The final spells where they cross out your lives and bombs are just for bonuses. If you get hit nothing really happens. Well you will fail the last spell but who cares?! Not me!
This is also possibly the only Touhou where counter bombing a hit is punished. I mean using your last spell to counter getting hit costs you 2 bombs is quite....cute....the reaction time you get for using these is really random...sometimes you have a whole second sometimes you just instantly....
Stage 5 boss is literally good for driving you mad....well I think that's her speciality?
