This is the final battle of a Lunatic 1cc attempt I just made. I managed to get to Shikieiki with over 100 million points (this is the first time I've ever scored so high) and with three lives. Surely, I could emerge victorious on at least one of those lives, right? Nope. A stupid glitch (along with some sloppy playing) screwed me over. (I'm assuming this is a glitch.)

Now, normally, when you take a hit, your spell gauge gets a slight boost, or fills up to the max if you got knocked down to your last chance hit point. However, for whatever stupid reason, if you launch a level 2 or higher charge attack immediately after getting hit, you don't get that boost, period. Guess what happened on my last HP on all three of my lives here?

And I do try to avoid launching a charge attack just after getting hit, but this still happens to me frequently, because something often hits me just before I launch a charge attack but before I can react in time to hold my fire until the gauge boost is applied.
