Insane as hell like LoLK, but fun to play!
Book of Star Mythology is a fanmade Touhou shmup by Mace's Secret Base using the danmakufu ph3 engine.
The game borrows the chapter system from Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom, and aside from Legacy mode, there`s also Legendary Hero mode, where you can play the game with infinite lives, which is a perfect mode for practicing.
Killing enemies will drop stars, and killing them at close range will spawn even more stars.
Gathering enough stars can trigger a last word pattern of a boss, in which it puts you to test how good your No-Bomb skill is. Dying in it results in instakilling the last word while losing the bonus.
