HRtPancakes looks like HRtPrayers, but is very different in some key aspects.
Most importantly, the orb can't hurt you in this game and you have no slide attack, which makes it harder to get the orb off the ground and harder to make precise shots. Instead you have a focus button similar to regular Touhou games, allowing you to move slowly through dense patterns.
Aside from the physics themselves being a bit off from the original, which makes the orb harder to control, many obstacles also act differently: Red spinning crosses do whatever they want with your orb, Gaps don't have much power behind them when they release the orb, the slow play punishment cannot be ended with bombs and regular tiles in stages will counter attack you without mercy.

Yukari Yakumo:
Yukari adds a new dimension to the gameplay, as she can walk freely out one end of the screen and promptly appear on the other side.

To unlock Extra, one needs to reach the good end in all story paths - this means, beat the last spell of each boss without dying and then clear the Bonus Stage afterward.

Hey, what about if we put some of the most tedious and difficult stages before a really hard boss? I'm sure that's gonna be fun to replay a few times! Sadly, that's what this is for the most part. The boss is fun, but the stages really aren't. Five would have been enough, I think.

Stage 2:
Why doesn't this game have any regular platforms? Playing on a floor of spinners is a nightmare. Also, this stage makes me believe that the gaps aren't random enough, if at all. On my playthroughs of this stage, they have either constantly sent me right or constantly sent me left. This is so bad...

Stage 3:
It's a trap! Don't uncover too many tiles at once, or you will be doomed. Don't move too much either, or you will be doomed.

Stage 4:
Those lasers stick around for a long time, so don't get stuck between them.

Stage 5:
If the tiles weren't that high up, this would actually be fun. But combined with the spinners, getting a precise shot at the top center can be tricky.

Stage 6:
THESE TILES ARE TOO HIGH UP. Also, make sure you don't uncover all the things above you at the same time.

Stage 7:
This one is scary, but actually quite fun.

Stage 8:
=) These bullets fall fast, so be careful. Also, if you are screen warping, look what's on the other side, please.

Stage 9:
The bullets aimed at Ran are a neat idea. Aside from that: asjgdjzasgdzjasvfzuasfdujashfkus

Stage 10:
The video thumbnail is a lie. This is a nightmare, especially if you lost some lives to the stages prior.
There would be a little piece of story as an ending after this, but this is recorded from a replay, so it's not included. Play the game yourself if you are curious about it. It's not especially deep lore.
