Touhou Labyrinth 2 Any% in 9:55:00 (Segmented) (Final Stratum)

Meaning segments were recorded separately and will be presented together as a finished run. This is not meant to be compared to a single segment run and exists only as a proof of concept for the route.
I chose to do this first run segmented because of how lengthy it is, and segmenting it allows me to play a bit of it every day and take notes on what can be improved on future runs. Not to mention I have work and need to sleep too.
Timer starts when selecting New Game and ends on the fade to black after the results screen in the 20F regular final boss. For the purposes of this segmented run, time was paused after the "Game was saved" message appears on screen, and is resumed when selecting the save file on the title screen.
I go out of my way to collect treasures since it will allow me to get the "Open 256 chests" achievement by the endgame, which gives you 50k money that is VERY necessary to beat the game underlevelled. I also grind a bit on each floor to make sure I level up naturally and use the exp bonuses that come from just battling while exploring the map. By this point however I already have enough EXP to finish the run, so I run from every trash encounter.
This video covers the final stratum, which is basically a maze with the Mirror and Magatama refights, as well as the final boss. We do get a few amazing treasures here that will help us defeat the bosses consistently.
The Mirror and Magatama refights are done with the Diva Aya strat, with Iku slowly chipping away at their HP while the boss is locked in place. The Mirror fight is particularly difficult since the boss is VERY fast even with the 50% SPD debuff. Very careful MP and ATB management is necessary here, and we use Rin as a Magician to try to mitigate the MP drain from Dance of the Cochlea.
After the refights we reincarnate every character that had major money investments throughout the run and respend the money to minmax for the final boss. We really need to do this since we are 50 levels under the challenge level. After that we equip our final party of 12 and sell all of the excess items to get even more money, that will then be spent on Parsee to put her ATK on 9000+.
That stat allows us to damage the final boss with Jealously of the Kind and Lovely after an ATK buff and DEF debuff, which then escalates with the TRR effect on the boss we grind with Yuuka and Satori. The fight is incredibly difficult and precise, since we need to escalate TRR to 100k as fast as possible so that the natural healing process doesn't interfere with further TRR scaling. To do that, we use Kourin's switching and Instant Attack switching to constantly give turns to Yuuka and Satori, mixing in Sanae to heal off damage done to Nitori or Kourin. This fight is no joke.
