Something about Akyuu seems off. She was supposed to start the rebirth process, but something went terribly wrong. Not wanting to let go of her life. She held remorse, guilt and longing to finish her job of fighting agianst youkai, this grudge against other youkai and wanting to live has made her a youkai herself. Almost that of an evil spirit who cannot move on. And she's out to take down anyone who stands in her way.
(The real Akyuu has moved on and a youkai has been formed from her old body.)
