[Touhou PODD] Vanishing Dream ~ Lost Dream [Accordion]
301And another one. Today this channel is 6 years old.
When I watch my videos of this year again, I have the feeling that I'm gradually finding my way.
I started making those videos when I was 15, mainly for two reasons: my ego, and the lack of accordion on YouTube.
Back then I was kinda disappointed that I couldn't listen to more of my favorite VGM tracks on accordion. So I decided to make them.
To make what I would have liked to see on YouTube.
I also wanted to show to people what accordion was capable of.
I received quite a lot of comments from people telling that they didn't know that accordion could sound like that.
A certain someone even made me shed a tear when they told me that I had inspired them and thus they decided to buy an accordion.
It's quite hard to believe that I've got this influence, but I'm really glad if i can inspire people like this.
Now things are a bit more complex, I guess I'm trying to understand myself by making those arrangements, since I do believe that music is more efficient than words when it comes to feelings.
Now about the video.
This is Kana Anaberal's theme from Touhou: Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream.
It's strange that I didn't do actual PC-98 arranges before. It was high time I made one.
Arranging this one was quite hard. Since the original melody is absolutely awesome, doing something totally faithful was definitely tempting.
The introduction is my favorite part of the original, it gives such an irrestible feeling of loneliness.
It's also difficult not to think about Castle in the Sky theme in the last part, I guess that's why I put major chords.
It took me some time to know what to play for the 6 years anniversary of this channel.
I first wanted to play Magical Storm, since it must be my favorite Touhou track. Buuut... I've got some reason to postpone this one.
That being said, I would like to thank all of you, you are trully awesome. And I'm more than happy to share what I do with you.
