According to the spanish visual kei wiki, Unlucky Morpheus is a japanese power metal band that stands out for FUKI's powerful voice, neoclassic guitars mixed with Jill's violin and the energetic drumming of Morishita. See what's wrong with that description? No mention of the most important member, the founder, the composer, arranger and amazing guitarist Yukimura Hirano (aka 紫煉 Shiren). I swear composers and instrumental performers never get the credit they deserve, this is so true that according to some youtube channels, it's hard to upload UM stuff without getting copyright claims but I haven't got a single one in this list full of instrumentals; I will be thankful for it this time though.
Unlucky Morpheus (or more like Shiren himself) released only 3 full instrumental albums, these are the ones I'm taking into account for this mix; if you are an UM fan you probably have heard some of them with vocals, well, these were originally instrumentals. They released other bonus off-vocal versions of some songs from Jealousy and other albums I think but I won't count those cause they don't have melodies during the verses and refrains, basically, only tracks from Amazement Park, Faith and Warfare and Heavy Metal Bebop are here, plus Shanghai.
Amazement Park is a 11/10 album and is my favorite UM release to date. Hope we can get an anime opening since they write og stuff now.
