There isn't much info about Yellow Squadron around so I have no idea if i it's just one dude or a whole band but judging by their music and how most doujin circles work I would bet it is a one-man army. You can hear two guitars with different gear in some solos but that's something you can easily do so yeah.
I have the impression that this guy has a LOT of fun making music. I'm not saying there's no thought put into his arrangements, it's just that rocking and rolling is only howling at the moon, and this guy is howling real hard. If I have to describe it I would say it's "pure heavy metal adrenaline".
They released a lot of music and they're still active (last release was during C100) and, maybe because it's not Touhou and KanColle isn't that popular outside of Japan nowadays but I hardly hear anything about them. YS is so underrated it hurts. And it's strange because they found the perfect mix of classic heavy metal with modern metal sound (kinda like Crow's Claw mixed with Iron Attack) so I think veteran metal heads and young ones would love them alike. I bet they will have their glory, time will show, when, I don't know but they will Sail Away tomorrow, sailing far away
