Touhou: Re.Phantasmagoria of Imagine Breaker | 1CC Easy Reimu/Touma | ALL
1st clear on RePoIB! It´s a pretty impressive shmup with an anime crossover!
Re.Phantasmagoria of Imagine Breaker is a shmup by Gore in 2014 made with the Danmakufu PH3 engine. This is Gore`s first title, and it has the word "Re." because it was remade, as it was originally intented to be purely like TH13TD, but was changed.
The game`s theme is based on TH7PCB and TH13TD, as well a crossover with characters of an anime called Toaru Majutsu no Index.
The mechanics are the following. One is the Supernatural Border system, which can be activated at anytime by pressing User 1 button. Border provides increased firepower to a Hyper state, cancelling certain bullets and automatically collect items in big cuantities, allowing for more resources to spawn. Depending on it`s percentage at the moment it`s activated, it will have a determined length.
The other one is character teams like TH8IN, but the difference is that you can change between the two of them by pressing User 2 button. A mechanic that was later seen in Abyss Soul Lotus.
The game as well features an Extra Stage, and a Phantasm-like stage called Mirace. To unlock Miracle Stage, you must capture al 60 spellcards, regardless of the playing methods (full runs, stage practice, spellcard practice).
